Highlife roots. Cosmic soul.
Old soul.
New frequency.
Born in New Jersey and raised in Nigeria, Nzutechukwu brings two worlds into the same groove.
His music blends highlife, soukous, funk, and pop into a timeless and nostalgic sound. Afro-pop meets the warm synths and boogie spirit of the 1980s—music with roots, rhythm, and room to dream.
Released through independent label Papingo Records, Baby Boy gathers that world into fourteen tracks, from “this time (prelude)” to “Where’s your heart.”
